Welcome to the Kansas Preppers Network
Welcome, after an invite and much consideration I have decided to manage the Kansas Preppers Network Blog. First a little about me, I am a life long Kansan, live and work in Topeka, have a wife and 2 kids, am 41 years old and want to do all that I can to survive whatever is coming. I will try to make daily post and invite every ones input. I plan on doing this for 2 or 3 weeks and see how well it goes, after that time period I will ask for comments to evaluate how people think this is going. If the readers or I feel that I am not doing a good job of managing this blog then I will hand over the reins to someone else. My hope is that in doing this we will all learn something new, weather it be something we didn't know at all or just a different way of looking at or approaching things. If anyone has any ideas or recommendations please feel free to offer them up. I guess that's it for now.---MCK

Welcome MCK and thank you for taking the Kansas Network. I know you will do a great job. Look around at the other networks for ideas for future posts. One that would really be great for Kansas would be to look at the risks your state faces. Tornados are one that comes to mind right off. What are people doing to prepare for things like this. Anyway, welcome to the network and if any of us can help in anyway please let us know. Good to have ya.
