• Tuesday, Aug. 11: Rep. Todd Tiahrt has several town hall meetings and satellite office hours scheduled throughout the 4th District through the fall.

• 10 a.m. Wed., Aug. 12: Rep. Lynn Jenkins’ “Congress to Kansas” Listening Tour begins in Topeka at the Holiday Inn Holidome, 605 SW Fairlawn Road. Rep. Jenkins will be touring the 2nd District throughout the recess, click here to see the complete schedule.

• 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1: Public meeting on health care reform at the Cleveland Chiropractic College (10850 Lowell St., Overland Park). This is a meeting for Third District constituents of Rep. Moore to hear from experts in the health care field. The target audience is older adults, caregivers, area leaders, service providers and advocates of aging services.
